Cancellation Policy

I understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances can arise, requiring you to cancel or reschedule your appointment. However, to ensure the smooth operation of my practice and to respect the time of both myself and other clients, I have established the following cancellation policy:

Cancellation Notice:
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 48 business hours notice.

What counts as business hours?
Business hours are between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday to Saturday. Sunday and public holidays are not counted as business hours.
This means, for example, that if you have a 9:00 am appointment on Monday, the last opportunity to cancel without a fee is by 9:00 am the Friday prior.

Cancellation Fees:

  • Less than 48 business hours’ notice: A 50% cancellation fee applies.

  • Less than 24 hours notice or failure to attend ('no-show'): A 100% cancellation fee applies.

How to Cancel or Reschedule:
You can cancel or reschedule via the confirmation email you received at the time of booking. Alternatively, you may send a text or email.

Why this policy exists:
This policy helps ensure that clients who are waiting for support have the opportunity to access appointments when they become available. When sessions are cancelled without enough notice, those times often cannot be offered to others in need. This can delay access to care for people who are seeking timely support.

Late cancellations and missed appointments also impact the sustainability of my practice. As a sole practitioner, I dedicate significant time and energy to preparing for each session. Consistent and predictable bookings help me maintain the quality and availability of my service for all clients.

If you have any questions or need further clarification, please feel free to contact me.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
